Yes, this is a really good cologne and has a great initial scent. The packaging and the color (cool blue) are also nice (who cares!). I also got a good price on Amazon. But it isn't long lasting and wears off in a few hours. Ergo, I would still go with Acqua di Gio from Armani. -- Good cologne. Not long lasting though.
This is a great smelling perfume, but the one I got from Amazon, is extremely diluted. The smell wears off in 30-45 mins, that is with 3 sprays. I got the 4.2 Oz bottle. Stay away from this. -- diluted
Hi, I purchased the 4.2 oz Cool Water by Davidoff from here because it's Amazon, and this seller has 119 reviews at almost 5 stars. I've always worn Cool Water and know its distinct, strong smell very well. Upon arrival of my cologne, I did a test spray and immediately noticed that it didn't quite smell right. Now, after using it daily for a few weeks, I noticed that the scent seems far weaker than my old bottles that I purchased from large, well known retail stores. Further, the scent only lasts about an hour. By the time I get to work, I can't really detect this cologne any longer (45 mins to 1 hour) after applying it. And it's not a matter of my nose getting used to the smell, it really is a weak scent out of the bottle, and even weaker shortly after application to the skin.
So I did some googling, and was educated. It's possible that many perfumes and colognes sold online, auction sites, and such - are knockoffs or highly diluted. I read that if you have to order online, go for the sampler size (yea right, too small for anyone) or go for the kits (like the cologne, lotion, soap, in those shrink wrapped kits). Its been said those are less likely to be faked. Also read that the 4.2 oz size is one of the more popular sizes to knockoff, so maybe opt for the smaller sizes.
Just wanted to provide my honest warning. I only plan to purchase colognes and perfumes from large well known stores, offline from here on out.

This simply is my favorite mens cologne for daily wear. Anywhere I where it I always am asked "what are your wearing, it smells so good on you". Has a nice light fragrance which is great for summer use. -- Cool Water Guy
After trying this cologne on for a little while, it immediately gave me a freshing aroma that was not too overwhelming. This seems like the nice after shower cologne that you can wear throughout the day. It last pretty long and does not require more then two sprays.
